In what other job could you keep offering your employer some inane rationalization and spin on the numbers, and each year your employer accepts the B.S. and hands you more money to continue pursuing the same failed strategy?

That's the "war on drugs." And the employer is the taxpayer. And as always, their strategy also involves giving the public an "enemy" or boogy man to attach the problem to. And last month, it was dealers of people selling "strawberry flavored" methamphetamine. The month before that, it was illegal aliens, stealing jobs while dispensing drugs out of the back of their "low-rider" SUV's.

And this month, it's pot growers who have suddenly become armed, dangerous, and violent criminals who wouldn’t hesitate to abet another 9/11 tragedy.

Mr. Walters rhetoric is an insult to the intelligence of anyone with anything above a room temperature I.Q. But the fact that he's still there, still getting by spewing the same vitriol, speaks volumes about just how stunned and/or apathetic the average taxpayer is. Perhaps they're getting what they deserve.
